You have entered the jungle, and you are now part of the Real Gorillas family.  I'm Kevin, the founder of Kevin's Corner and the Real Gorillas community. My upbringing was much like that of many youngsters growing up in the inner cities, where the prevailing belief went like this: the United States is deeply plagued by racism, and the Republicans are at the helm.

But then, my perspective underwent a significant shift when I embarked on my college journey and began interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. I owe a debt of gratitude to my parents for pushing me towards higher education, for it was at the university that I realized, 'Hmm, they don't bear any ill will towards me. They're aight with me,' speaking of my fellow Caucasian students.

It became clear to me that many folks are good, while others are not so good, regardless of skin color. I learned to view people as individuals rather than sorting them into categories based on identity or nationality.  During these years I found Jesus who truly worked on my heart.  He persisted day in and day out, causing me to change my ways. Some of my buddies weren't vibing with the new Kev, y'all, but it was all good. Especially after The Lord unleashed the gift of discernment on me.  He blessed me more than you'll ever know.

After I graduated and with God by my side, my interest in politics increased. My eyes were opened to the manipulation and deception perpetuated by certain politicians, the mainstream media, and other influential people, you know, those with the biggest bullhorns. I felt compelled to expose their hypocrisies.

This transformative perspective played a pivotal role in the creation of Kevin's Corner, my political commentary channel, aimed at assisting folks in breaking free from the shackles of victimhood and stinking thinking.
